VTC now offers the ultimate in vandal proof product. We are pleased to announce that the VTC vandal domes have

been independently tested to determine their level of impact protection, which is represented by the IK code.

The IK code is an International numeric classification for the degree of protection provided by enclosures for electrical

equipment against external mechanical impact. It consists of the letters IK followed by digits and provides a means of

specifying the ability of an enclosure to protect its contents from external impacts.
